From the moment you’re engaged, you’re immediately faced with a myriad of decisions about what your wedding will be like. Some of the questions you might be thinking are…
Do you want a spring or fall wedding?
How many bridesmaids do you want?
Do you want a small, intimate wedding or something bigger?
Once the planning process starts, a whole new set of questions starts to emerge…
Do you want tall floral centerpieces?
Bamboo chairs or white folding chairs?
What type of table setting do you want?
As a wedding photographer, it’s my job to not only capture the memories of the event, but also all those little details you took the time to carefully, and thoughtfully choose.
My clients receive a checklist of items to have gathered for me when I arrive on their wedding day. Those items are some of the very first pictures that I take on a wedding day. I love that you will always have the memory of what your invitations looked like; and to see a picture of your shoes and then be reminded of how you felt when you finally decided on which shoes you wanted to walk towards your future in.
Every decision is intentional, and I want to be sure I honor that. Tell me what your favorite details are. If you worked really hard to create your dream wedding bouquet, please tell me all about it!
I often am asked what my favorite detail to shoot is and I don’t think I really have one. Everything is always beautiful. However, when I see that one thing that makes my bride light up, that’s what I focus on. There’s always something, and I will take as many pictures as I can of it.
I’ve always heard, “the devil is in the details” and I strongly disagree. The details are where the magic is.
